Studying in Spain: Language Requirements Explained
Which universities need DELE or SIELE, what level, and how early to start preparing.
Most Spanish-taught bachelor programmes ask for B2; master's programmes often accept B1 with a language commitment, while medicine and law usually require C1.
DELE and SIELE are both widely accepted. SIELE returns results faster; DELE has no expiry, which matters if you are applying across multiple cycles.
Start at least twelve months before your application deadline. Working back from a B2 exam date is the cleanest way to plan your study calendar.
